This includes:
- Current and emerging technologies that impact on operational duties
- Using technology to improve work practices
- Current and emerging technology in day to day work activities
- Using a range of opportunities to update knowledge of the hospitality industry
- Monitoring current issues and trends
- Sharing updated information with colleagues
A few points to think about for your blog or respond in the topic forums:
Research and discuss one (1) example of current and emerging technology that would impact on operational duties within a hospitality establishment. Discuss positives and negatives for the establishment if they were to implement this new technology.
Discuss the ways you personally monitor current issues and trends in the hospitality industry and comment on why it is important to stay up to date with this knowledge. How do you / or have you in the past shared updated information with colleagues?
